Cayosoft Administrator unifies your hybrid environment under a single console and provides the IT controls demanded by Auditors and Compliance Officers. Cloud and Mobile has also made day-to-day administration, adherence to IT Business Practices more complex and costly. The slew of separate administrative interfaces (or the lack of an administrative interface) may mean jumping between disconnected islands of administration taking more time, increasing both errors and costs while reducing admin productivity. Cayosoft Administrator solves these problems with pre-built rules designed to efficiently perform key administrative tasks so you can concentrate on the more important aspects of IT.
Cayosoft Administrator also has built-in rules that enforce Cayo Suspend’s Object Retention Policy to efficiently complete user and group deprovisioning. This is critical because user and group objects must be retained for between 30 and 90 days so that they are available for compliance or security audits. Because it would be easy to forget, Cayosoft Administrator will scan Active Directory and identify the users and groups that are scheduled for permanent deletion. When a user or group passes the assigned retention period Cayosoft Administrator deletes the object and then audits the date and time the permanent deletion occurred.
Enforce IT Policies with Business Rules
On-going IT Policy enforcement is critical for maintaining security and for sustaining legal or regulatory compliance goals. Cayosoft Administrator will keep an eye on important systems like Active Directory to make sure that key IT business policies are being enforced. Optionally, Cayosoft Administrator can be configured to take action in the target system to correct policy violations.
Detect & Alert on Hard drive failure events
Disk errors may be an early warning sign of emanate drive failure resulting in service outages and costly downtime. Cayosoft Administrator will periodically check each of your server’s event logs looking for events that indicate a problem may be developing. If a disk error event is detected, an e-mail alert is generated and emailed to the specified server admin that proactive action may be necessary.
Detect & Alert on Low disk space detected
Running out of disk space can cause outages resulting in expensive and un-recoverable application data loss and a loss of confidence of your end-users. Cayosoft Administrator connects to each of your servers and evaluates the available disk space. If a low disk condition is detected, an e-mail alert is generated and emailed to the specified server admin that proactive action may be necessary.
Identify Off-line Domain Controllers
Users and IT staff may experience long delays at logon or in some cases may be denied logon because a domain controller has gone offline. Cayosoft Administrator
Change Local Admin Password
Periodically changing the local administrator password on your Windows Servers is time consuming but critical to prevent embarrassing and costly security breaches. Cayosoft Administrator will contact each of your servers on your behalf and change the local administrator password to the one you specify.
Updates Local Admin Group Members
Ensuring the local Administrator’s group has the correct membership is important to allowing the right people to access the system when access is needed. Improper removal of accounts can cause delays in resolving systems outages because your administrator will not have the required access.
Automate Repetitive Tasks without Scripting
Microsoft’s native tools completely lack automation and IT Rule Enforcement. Microsoft PowerShell, while powerful, can be confusing and difficult to support. When vendors require scripting to make their product work they are making some big assumptions. The first assumption is that the customer knows how to script and has in-depth expert knowledge about the systems, applications or directories to be modified. Second, the vendor assumes the customer has the time and money to learn a scripting language, plan and research coding methods, build and later support the programs you create. Scripting things correctly, even PowerShell, is time consuming and expensive.

Each of these downloadable extensions have been designed by experts combining dozens of years of and thousands of customer feedback requests.
Email notifications is built into Cayosoft Administrator allowing administrators, help desk staff, managers, mobile or desktop users to receive important alerts and information when needed. Email alerting is an optional part of each alert scenario and works with popular SMTP Servers like on-premise Microsoft Exchange or cloud based Office 365 and Google Mail.
Quick lists & Reporting
At the heart of Cayosoft Administrator is data discovery. Cayosoft Administrator works by connecting and querying a source system like Active Directory, an Excel CSV file or a Cloud Application. Next Cayosoft Administrator filters, sorts and analyses the information to determine if any action is needed.
Cayosoft Administrator Extension Center
Extensions add additional capabilities to the Cayosoft Administrator™ console beyond the built-in functionality. Typically extensions provide new features for a specific platform except in the case of the Utilities Extension. The Utilities extension provides a basic set of operations that are most often used in conjunction with another extension. For example, the Office 365 Extension will query for Office 365 user accounts and the Utilities extension can be used to filter, sort, export or send emails based on that information.

- Microsoft Online Services Sign-in Assistant (Required for Office 365 or Azure AD extensions)
- Microsoft Azure Active Directory Commands (Required for Office 365 or Azure AD extensions)
- Administrator permissions on the workstation or server where the product will be installed
- Administrative permissions in Active Directory up to the level required for desired tasks to be completed
- Administrative permissions on the target system up to the level required for the tasks to be completed
- Platform 2 GHz or higher Intel Pentium-compatible CPU.
- Memory (RAM) 2 GB or more recommended. The optimal amount of memory depends on the total number of rules being executed.
- Disk Space 30 MB or more of free disk space.

Subscription vs. Perpetual Licensing
Subscription licenses are 12 month time limited licenses that expire at the end of the subscription period. Perpetual licenses do not expire and you own them. Perpetual license owners are entitled to to upgrades and new features while support and maintenance agreements are in place.

Support & Maintenance
Subscription licenses include standard support. Perceptual licenses include the first year standard support and maintenance beginning on the purchase date and continue for 12 months. Subsequent yearly software maintenance is optional and amounts to 20% of the license purchase price. Premium support can be added for an additional cost.
