As a Salesforce and Business Applications Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Salesforce environment and related business applications. You’ll work closely with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional service. This role requires a balance of technical skills and understanding of business processes. The Salesforce and Business Applications Specialist will play a key role in ensuring that our business applications are effectively supporting our operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Salesforce Administration: Manage and maintain the Salesforce environment. This includes creating and editing validation rules, approval processes, sharing, and flows to streamline business operations and improve data integrity.
  • Application Management: Oversee the operation of related business applications such as ZoomInfo and HubSpot. Ensure these applications are integrated smoothly with our Salesforce environment.
  • Integrations Management: Build and maintain integrations between business applications.
  • Report and Dashboard Creation: Build custom reports and dashboards in Salesforce to provide valuable insights to the business. Work closely with various teams to understand their reporting needs.
  • Apex Development: Write basic Apex classes to extend the functionality of Salesforce. Follow best practices for coding and testing.
  • User Support: Provide support to Salesforce users. This includes troubleshooting issues, providing training, and maintaining documentation.
  • Data Management: Oversee data quality and data migrations to ensure the integrity of the Salesforce data.
  • Project Management: Lead or assist in Salesforce-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce validation rules, approval processes and flows
  • Experience with integrating business applications
  • Basic understanding of Apex programming
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with other departments: Demonstrated experience in working with cross-functional teams, understanding their needs, and delivering solutions.
  • Experience creating business intelligence reports
  • Certifications related to Salesforce, BI reporting or similar are advantageous.

  • Classification: Exempt
  • Reports to: Integrated Technology Services Manager
  • Travel: This position may involve occasional travel, 5-10%
  • Compensation: Commensurate with Experience
